One County. A Lot of Different Ways to Live.
Denton County stretches from established suburbs and walkable downtown districts to master-planned communities, acreage properties and rapidly growing new-construction areas.
The right place usually isn't determined by which city looks best on a map. It's commute, schools, home style, lot size, budget, restaurants, community amenities and how you actually want your day-to-day life to feel.
That's why I don't start with a zip code. I start with what matters to you.
Argyle
Small-town roots, highly sought-after schools, newer master-planned communities and plenty of room to spread out.
Flower Mound
An established DFW suburb known for parks, mature neighborhoods, sought after locations, convenient amenities and access to both Dallas and Fort Worth.
Denton
Part college-town, historic neighborhoods, live music, local restaurants and one of the most recognizable downtown squares in North Texas.
Northlake
One of the fastest-changing corners of the area, with newer communities, new construction and convenient access to I-35W.
Lantana
An established master-planned community with extensive amenities, trails, golf course, parks and neighborhood events.
Bartonville
A quieter residential community known for larger homesites, small-town feel, custom properties and a little more breathing room.
Double Oak
A small residential town with larger lots, established homes and quick access to Flower Mound amenities (Don't worry there's a Target nearby).
Corinth
A convenient option near Lake Lewisville with established neighborhoods and easy access to Denton and southern Denton County.
Highland Village
An established lakeside suburb offering mature neighborhoods, lakeviews, parks, trails and strong access to shopping and dining.

Argyle generally offers a smaller-town feel with significant newer development and more opportunities for larger lots, while Flower Mound is a larger, more established suburb with extensive shopping, dining, parks and services.

New construction is particularly common around Argyle, Northlake, Justin and other growing portions of western and northern Denton County. Availability changes frequently, and some builders offer incentives that aren't immediately obvious from third-party home-search sites.
